Boston Massacre

The Boston Massacre is a historical event that took place in Boston. It occured on March 5th , 1770. On this date many soldiers and there officer, Thomas Preston, were charged with murder. While in Boston many colonists believed that British government had sent troops to silence there critics. Both sides disliked each other, causing a fight between a colonist and a soldier. After this the soldiers fired into the crowd killing several people. Even though several people were killed, they were proven not guilty because there actions were done in self defense. All in all, the Boston Massacre is a historical event that will always be remembered. In conclusion, several people were killed but the soldiers only did this out of self defense.
